Trains have provided a source of fascination for generations of children (and adults, for that matter.) Perhaps it is the sheer grandiose of the old steam trains, the history surrounding the railway, or perhaps it is the influence of the timeless children’s character, Thomas the Tank Engine, who has been entertaining kids for decades. Whatever the reason, trains remain a favourite activity for kids and adults alike, and here is where you can find train activities in and around Birmingham.

Cannon Hill Park is home to a superb Land Train that will take you all over the park.
It stops at all the biggest attractions in the park including the Fun Park, Golden Putter Mini Golf, MAC, Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park and the boating lake.
You can use the Cannon Hill Fun Pass to purchase a return ticket for the Land Train.
