A look at some of the fantastic water parks around the West Midlands.
Summer in the UK means a number of things – the temperature rises, the sun doesn’t go down at 4pm and the long summer holidays are here! So where can you take the kids on a hot day? It’s always nice to go out and about and cool down in the water, so if you are interested in taking the kids to a water park or activity, here are the top spots in the West Midlands.

A 600-hectacre park with plenty of activities for the whole family!
No specific swimming area, but there are 15 boating and fishing lakes at the park!
Have a go at the pedal boats on the lake.
Also the home of Tamworth Sailing Club.

Water activities include canoes, kayaking and bellboating – wait, what? Bellboating is a twin hulled canoe joined by a platform and can seat up to 10 participants!

Splash Zone at Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes is an indoor attraction that is full of fun water activities!
Splash Zone has three waterslides, sprays and streams.
Splash Tots is a pre-schooler and toddler play session in which young children can enjoy fishing games, play boats, paddling pools and inflatables, plus free biscuits and squash!

Water World has a variety of rides that are suitable for families with young children, including the Jungle House Flumes, children’s Boat Slide, The Black Hole (with an adult) and the Pyhton (with an adult) plus more!
Seasonal outdoor pool.
There are also toddler slides and a toddler boat slide for children under 110cm in height.
