Sycamore Green Adventure Centre, Dudley

A place in which kids are free to be kids!

Just 35 minutes outside of the Birmingham City Centre is a wonderful space in which children can explore, play and imagine.

Sycamore Green Adventure Centre is an indoor and outdoor adventure centre for children aged up to 13 years. They also cater for families who have additional needs.

Come and Play Sessions

This unique environment is a safe space in which children can be….well, children! Sycamore Green Adventure Centre runs Come and Play Sessions for parents and carers at various times during the week. These sessions include access to the indoor and outdoor playgrounds and play equipment, plus sensory room and café.

It is important to stress that these sessions are only run at certain times during the week, which are outlined below:

Term Times
Wednesday 1pm to 6pm – Family Sessions (open to all ages, parent supervision is essential)
Thursdays 4:30pm to 6:30pm – Families with Additional Needs (children and young people who need additional support, along with their families)
Friday 4pm to 6pm – Children aged 8 to 13 years only (no adults allowed!)
Saturday 11am to 2pm – Family

School Holidays
Monday 1pm to 4pm – Family
Wednesday 1pm to 4pm – Family
Thursday 1pm to 4pm – Families with Additional Needs
Friday 1pm to 4pm – Family
Saturday 11am to 2pm – Family

The centre is closed on bank holidays and bank holiday weekends, plus 3 to 8 September 2018 and 24 December 2018 to 26 January 2019. For up to date information, check the website before you go.

The centre has a suggested donation of £2 per child per visit during term time and a holiday time donation of £3 per child per visit. Funds go to Friends of Sycamore Adventure and support running costs for the centre.

Book and Play Sessions

If you work with young children, you can arrange to bring them along to Sycamore Adventure! There are a huge number of activities to choose from, including go-karting, treasure or scavenger hunts, ‘junk modelling’ (making things from recycled materials) and even campfires. Birthday Parties

Sycamore Adventure is a unique spot to hold a special birthday! You can choose from a range of activities, such as Go-Karting, face painting, themed parties and craft parties. They are suitable for kids of all ages and all parties include a dedicated staff member to coordinate. You can read more here.
