A Treasure Hunt Trail is a fantastic, child-friendly way to learn more about Solihull.

How well do you think you know the streets of Solihull? Even if you feel like you have seen every attraction and site there is, a Treasure Hunt Trail will teach you something new!

What is a Treasure Hunt Trail? It is a self-guided, themed walking treasure hunt around Solihull! Treasure Trail is a fun, UK-wide way to see a side of the city you never knew existed, find your way around a new city or learn fun facts about somewhere you are visiting.

It’s a great way to spend time with the kids or as a group and it is suitable for kids of all ages, although older children will probably find the most appreciation for this sort of activity.

So how does it work? Follow the set trail route around Solihull, solve the clues located on existing buildings, monuments and features and find the location of the ‘buried treasure!’

Ok, so there isn’t any actual treasure at the end, but if you complete the trail and have all the correct answers, you could win £100! All correct answers will be entered into the monthly draw, the prize of which is £100.

All you have to do to get started is order or download the trail from the Treasure Trail website and off you go! You can either print the trail at home or have the printed trail sent to you. There is even an option to personalise the trail and include your own photo and text to the front of the trail booklet, which you can read more about at the website. Every trail includes a free mobile phone service in case you get into a pickle with one of the clues.

The trail is around 1.5 miles in length. You can go at your own pace and it is most suitable for children aged 6 and over. You don’t even have to take the children with you if you’d prefer!

The Solihull Treasure Trail starts at Arcelor House in Solihull, B91 3AL.

If you would like to read more about the trail or to get started, see the website .
