A winter wonderland dedicated to all things snow!

For winter fans in the Midlands, Tamworth is home to the SnowDome, a place where you can enjoy all things cold! The SnowDome has it all - skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and tonnes of snow fun!

There are even activities for children as young as 2 years old, along with skiing lessons, snowboarding lessons and tobogganing. If you absolutely love the winter, this is one place to check out with the family. Here’s a snapshot of the activities on offer.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Never skied before? You are in the right spot!

Offers lessons for beginners, those looking to improve and for children aged from just 4 years!

Private ski lessons also available.

Snowboard lessons are also available to children aged 4 and over, along with beginners and those looking to improve.

If you are a competent skier or snowboarder you can ski unsupervised but you must meet the recreation standard .

Ice Skating

Has ice skating sessions for everyone, including families and children!

Ice Skating lessons are available for children aged 5 and over.

Offers Family Sessions, which are suitable for all ages and are a more relaxed session exclusively designed for parents and children.

Skate aids are available to hire for children aged 2 and over.

Also offers a 3-hour, midweek skating session for all ages.

Skate Club runs for children aged 5 and over and includes fun and games.

Snow Fun

The UK’s only dedicated Snow Play area, with real snow!

Suitable for children aged 2 and over.

Play in the snow, slide down the snow slides and clamber in and out of the treehouse.

Sessions are 30 in duration.

Offers Snowplay Cubs sessions for children aged 4 and under and their families.

Cost: £3.95 for adults and £7.95 for children aged 2 to 15 years

Tobogganning

Toboggan on real snow on the 170 metre slope!

Suitable for children aged 5 and over (or over 1 metre tall) and adults. Children aged under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sessions are 30 minutes.

Cost: £8.95 for all.

A toboggan day ticket entitles you to all day fun in the snow!

A day ticket includes tobogganing, flume and inflatable swimming and ice skating.

Day ticket cost: £20.70 for adults and £19.70 for children aged 5 to 15 years

Tiny Sledging and Tiny Tubing

Tiny Sledging is available for children aged 3 to 7 years.

Young children can enjoy 30 minutes of tobogganing on a lightweight sledge, all on real snow!

Cost: £7.95 for children aged 3 to 7 years.

Tiny Tubing is available for children aged 3 to 7 years.

They can enjoy 30 minutes of tubing down the nursery slopes on a specially designed tube!

Cost: £7.95 for all juniors.

Junior tubing is also available for children aged 6 to 12 years at a cost of £8.95 for a 30 minute session.

Swimming

Has a 25-metre pool, junior pool and toddler pool.

Children over 1.2 metres in height and their families can enjoy the Flume and Inflatable Fun Sessions, a 90-minute session that includes floats, inflatables and flume.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing is available for children aged 4 years and over.

Climbing walls are between 6 and 10 metres and there are 15 climb challenges.

You can also purchase a climbing day ticket, which entitles you to a full day of climbing, flume and inflatable swimming, plus ice skating.

Birthday parties

SnowDome offers birthday parties!

Parties are available for children of all ages and there are a number of themes available.

Themes include Snowplay, tubing, sledging, swimming or Santa’s Winter Wonderland!

Special Events and Holidays

Come along and enjoy school holiday fun and special events, such as Halloween and Christmas.
