A lovely country park located close to the heart of the city.

Located just seven miles outside of the Birmingham City Centre, is over 300 acres of public space, grassland, wetlands and woodland. With a children’s play area, farm and even a viewing area for Birmingham Airport, it is a lovely day out without having to go too far out of the city. Here’s what’s on for families at .

Seasonal Events

runs a number of seasonal and holiday events, including the below:

  • Easter – Easter egg trails, craft stalls and bouncy castle.
  • Santa’s Christmas Grotto – come and meet Santa and his band of elves in a very special Christmas Grotto.
  • Halloween – dress up as your favourite spooky character for Halloween!

  • Birthday Party Room Hire

    Birthday parties are £27.50 per hour for room hire, which also has an enclosed garden. Along with parties, you can hire the space for meetings and other social events and can accommodate a maximum of 30 people.

    Airport Viewing Area

    Fancy doing something a bit different with the kids? Birmingham International Airport sits on the fringe of and has a designated viewing area. Find a spot and watch the planes taking off and landing up close!

    The Old Rectory Farm

    This stunning old building was built in the 17th Century as the main entrance to the farm. The Old Rectory Farm has now been restored and now operates for demonstrations of traditional farming methods. It is free to enter and is open every day. You can visit a range of animals, including ponies, goats, cows, ducks, pigs, chicken and geese.

    Children’s Playground

    The park has a small play area, although most of the equipment is best suited to younger children. There are picnic areas close by so you can keep an eye on the kids while taking a rest. There is also plenty of space for football, rounders and other ball games.

    Walking and jogging paths
