A beautiful tea parlour that is perfect for afternoon tea with the kids!

The team behind the wildly popular Birmingham children’s hair salon, Trimz and Tantrums , have now opened a fantastic tea parlour that is perfect for parents and kids!

Located in Rubery, Once Upon A Time Tea Parlour serves up the most delightful milkshakes, has an extensive menu for children and even has a cute little play area.



The Tea Parlour is full of all things whimsical and wonderful, including tea sets akin to those found in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and serves up meals that include an awesome Hot Dog racing car – now that’s a pretty cool idea!

Once Upon A Time offers a range of homemade cakes and sweet treats, plus teas and coffees, along with decadent milkshakes made with Caramac, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, M&Ms, Kit Kats and Toblerone. Delicious!



Along with the totally tempting milkshakes, they also serve up a range of other cold drinks, plus have a huge array of ice cream flavours, plus a fridge full of Ben & Jerry’s to choose from and an extensive sandwich bar designed to appeal to even the fussiest of children.

The kids play area has tables and chairs, toys, books and games and a newly installed entertainment system playing movies. The cute décor is a baby blue and pink, and there are plenty of Disney-related items dotted around the parlour, plus high chairs available.



They also stock a range of imported treats, such as Pop Tarts and Twinkies for ex-pats wanting a sugar hit from home!
