A child-friendly cafe located within the Sutton Coldfield Library.

The team behind the wonderfully child-friendly café, Little Green Frog Lichfield has now opened the Little Green Bookworm Cafe!

The new café is located within the Sutton Coldfield Library and has been opened in partnership with the FOLIO Sutton Coldfield which stands for Friends Of Libraries In Our…. Sutton Coldfield, for example, which is a registered charity dedicated to helping local libraries to thrive in the community.

Little Green Bookworm Café has a soft play area and an extensive menu for children, plus they work closely with the library so children can read, play and learn in a fun and safe environment, along with eating and drinking delicious treats!

Soft Play Area

The soft play area is the perfect spot for children to have a play while parents and carers sit back with a hot coffee or cup of tea. There is plenty of soft padding on the floor, areas for the kids to climb through and big blocks for the kids to play with. The soft play area incorporates the book theme, making it an ideal are to sit with a book or play.

Children’s Meals and Drinks

I find it frustrating when I discover a fantastic child-friendly café, but little to no menu options for the kids! You won’t have that problem at Little Green Bookworm Café.

There is an extensive menu for breakfast, which includes pancakes, the Baby Bacon Sarnie, fruit and toast, along with plenty of options for lunch such as sandwiches, pick n mix weaning plate and Tots Toasties. There are also plenty of options for drinks that include smoothies, juices, milkshakes and Froggieccinos – the baby version of a cappuccino!

Birthday Parties

Little Green Bookworm Café has a number of birthday party options. You can hold a small party for two hours when the café is open, or hire the entire café for exclusive use! Parties start from £10 per child and include catering and access to the soft play area. You can read more here.
