Lightwoods Park and House is located in Smethwick and has plenty for families to do! Along with a children’s play area, this popular wedding spot also has a skate park, hosts community events and seasonal, family events. Here are some of the things you can do at Lightwoods Park and House.

Skate Park

Got a budding skater in the family? Lightwoods Park has a fantastic skate park where the kids can practice their tricks. The park has a number of obstacles, along with smooth surfaces, making it the ideal spot for both beginners and experienced skaters.

Children’s play area

The children’s play area underwent a huge redevelopment a few years ago. The play space consists of a climbing frame with various features that includes rope play, slides and bridges.

Play in the Park on Sundays

Hosted by the Benson Community Project every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.

Come along and play football, volleyball and plenty of other fun games.

Open to all ages and abilities.

Sessions are completely free!

Smarty Pants Day Nursery

Smarty Pants is a private day nursery that has places for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
