Do you want to celebrate the end of the year and take part in the countdown to 2019, but know you'll never make it to midnight? Welcome to parenthood!

Once the kids come along, celebrating New Years Eve becomes a little more challenging to navigate, especially if you have to take the children along with you. Thankfully, there are several family friendly New Year’s Eve events happening around Birmingham, some of which will have early countdowns for those of us with young children who will need to get home to bed. Here’s where you’ll find these great events in Birmingham.



New Year’s Eve Family Disco, Crowne Plaza Solihull

Come and enjoy a three-course meal at 7pm and have a dance at the disco.
Adults £45 per person, children aged 3 to 12 years £22.50 and children under 3 are free.
There are also overnight accommodation packages from £99.50 per person including breakfast, with additional supplement for family rooms applying.

Birmingham Ice Rink and Big Wheel

New Year’s Eve Family Disco, St Wilfrids Community Centre

A family friendly disco in the hall that is limited to 100 guests.
Tickets on sale now, children welcome.
Hot food and tuck shop available, plus licensed bar.
£5 for adult and £3 for children aged two and over.
