Escape hunts, or escape rooms, are a fun activity that you can do at just about any age!
Have you experienced the thrill of an escape room? If you’re not familiar with this popular activity, you are locked in a room and are given a series of clues to solve in order to escape. It’s about teamwork, being challenged and using your initiative to get out in the allocated time. An escape room experience is a fantastic idea for a birthday party for older children, as a corporate activity and as an alternative to the boozy hen’s doo.
There’s a few rules – you only have a certain amount of time to get out (usually an hour) and you can only use the resources provided in the room and your brain! If it all sounds a bit claustrophobic, you are, of course, given the opportunity to leave the room if needed and you can also ask a staff member for help. If it all sounds somewhat intriguing, here’s where you can find an escape hunt experience in Birmingham.
