Day Trips From Birmingham – Little Owl Farm Park

A charming nature and farm park with lots of furry new friends to meet!

Around 45 minutes south of Birmingham is the Little Owl Farm Park, a delightful new attraction in the West Midlands.

This educational, family-run farm park has been renovated and is a fun day out for young and old. If you are looking for a fantastic day out with the family, Little Owl Farm Park is one for the to-do list. Here are some of the activities you can do with the family at the park.

Visit the animals

Little Owl Farm Park has a huge range of animals to meet! Around the park, you will find sheep, pig, goats, ponies, foxes, wallabies, apacas, reindeers and birds, including the little owl.

If your children love cuddling little animals, they can visit the Petting Barn, where they can cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs! The Petting Barn is open between 10am and 4:30pm daily.

Critter Cabin is the place to go to see snakes, hedgehogs, terrapins and all sorts of reptiles! There is even a Giant Snail!

The Nature Trail

The Nature Trail will take you on a self-guided tour of the park and you can view the habitats of a number of animals, including the Fox Hole, the Insect Habitat, Beehive, Bat Box and Bird Box.

Indoor and outdoor play

The indoor play area is a safe, fun spot for children aged up to 10 years to burn off some steam. There is a play structure, ball pit, slides and things to climb. There is a separate area for children under 5 years.

The park also has indoor sand pits, plus a fantastic outdoor play area with towers, rope play and a slide.

Go Karting

Little Owl Farm Park has a dedicated outdoor track for go karting! The karts are available to children aged 6 and over and adults, and there are smaller go-karts for younger children. You can also have a ride on the Tractor-Trailer!

Birthday Parties

If your child is enthralled by their visit to the park, why not bring them back for a special birthday party? Parties are available from £13 per child and can cater for between 10 and 25 children. Parties are offered on weekends and during school holidays.

Weekend, school holidays and bank holidays – Adults and teens aged 16 and over £8.20, children aged 1 – 15 years £7.20, seniors £7.45. Children under 12 months are free.
