Café Craft In Bearwood

by BecSorby (follow)
A fun, crafty cafe that is great for kids and adults like!

Even if you’re not particularly artistic when it comes to the paintbrush (like me) Café Craft in Bearwood is a fantastic way to spend some time getting messy with the kids, making a special gift for someone or simply sitting back with a coffee.

Café Craft is a unique pottery studio with an adjoining coffee lounge that is inviting for both adults and children alike. The concept is simple – pick a ceramic, create a design using a pencil then get painting! Your beautiful work of art will then be ‘fired’ in a kiln and come out with a lovely glaze – it’s then ready to be picked up about a week later. Easy!

You can choose from a variety of ceramics including mugs and plates, animals and other figurines, trains, cars and even money boxes! The paints are water based, so they wash off easily.

Along with painting ceramics, you can also capture your children’s foot or handprints, which makes a lovely present for grandparents! The prints can be done with paint or as a clay inprint.

Just to show how baby and child friendly Café Craft is, they can even bring the art to you and your nursery or mums and babies group. Their mobile service will come out to a venue of your choice for foot and hand printing, which is ideal if you have a large nursery or mum and baby group.

They don’t just run offsite services for nursery and baby and toddler groups – Café Craft offers their offsite services to a host of groups, including schools, after school clubs, Scouts, Guides (and similar) corporate groups, hen’s parties, church groups….to make a group booking, simply give them a call to discuss.

I tend to handle activities with my toddler and infant a lot better if I know there is coffee on offer, which only makes Café Craft all the more appealing. They serve delicious coffee and other hot and cold drinks, along with cakes, muffins and pastries and a selection of sandwiches and paninis. There’s even a frozen yoghurt bar!

If you fancy a birthday party with a difference or want to celebrate a special occasion, Café Craft can even do that too! They run parties for children and adults – you are never too old or too young to get creative! Birthday parties start from £10 per head for a minimum of 10 guests, and you can read more here.

You don't have to be an artist to have fun at Cafe Craft! Pop in for a coffee, a bite to eat or just to have some fun with the kids.
