A delightful children’s farm in which you can feed the animals, enjoy the fresh air and even take a ride on a tractor!
Located at Kingsbury Water Park, Broomey Croft Children’s Farm is a fantastic day out in which you and the family can visit the animals, let the kids run around the play areas and even have a tractor ride!
Kingsbury Water Park is a 600-hectacre country park, and Broomey Croft Children’s Farm is one of the most popular attractions. Just some of the activities and things to do for families include feeding the docile farm animals, riding the tractor and trailer or stopping for a snack or cuppa at the Granary Tea Room.
You can purchase bags of animal food for just 50p each, then hand feed the animals! The children will be delighted with this opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals and watch them gently take the food right out of their hands.
Along with feeding the animals, Broomey Croft has a number of fun farm activities, including free rides on the tractor and trailer, or you can drive your own pedal tractor
Nurseries and Groups Broomey Croft welcomes visits from nurseries and groups – these are available through pre-booking, so contact the farm for further information.
The Granary Tea Room
Once you have had a look around the farm, the kids have had a play and you need a bit of a break, the Granary Tea Room is the place to go. Have a seat and enjoy hot and drinks, homemade cakes, soups or jacket potatoes, or even an ice cream on a warm day.
The farm is open on weekends and during school holidays only, although groups and schools are welcome to visit throughout the year, as long as they have been pre-booked. The farm is closed from Autumn half term to February half term.
Broomey Croft Children’s Farm is the ideal place to take the kids when you feel like getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Feed the animals, let the kids run around in the fresh air and enjoy those delightful tractor rides through the paddocks.
