by BecSorby (follow)
A wonderful animal sanctuary located just outside Dudley.

Brockswood Animal Sanctuary not only cares for abandoned, abused and unwanted animals, but also brings those who are sick or injured back to health. The sanctuary is also a short drive from the centre of Birmingham, making it an ideal family day out.

Located in Sedgley, just outside Dudley, Brockswood Animal Sanctuary has lots of families to do, including family events, animal feeding and meeting some new furry friends, of course! Here are just some of the activities for families at the Sanctuary.

Sponsor an animal

Brockswood provides members of the public with an opportunity to adopt one of their residents! You can view the animals available for sponsorship here and they include Callum the Welsh mountain pony, Duke the donkey, Leo the Shetland pony and Malcolm the emu. Itís a wonderful way to have an animal to call your own but without all the mess! You can also purchase bags of animal feeds by the sack, plus bales of hay and straw, shavings and sacks of carrots.

Sponsorship also makes an ideal and unique gift for any animal lover friend, and their sponsorship information can even be posted directly to them. Profits go towards caring for the animal, including buying food, bedding, medication and vet bills, plus any enclosure renovations.
