Do you have a little car enthusiast in the family? The
British Motor Museum is located around an hour by car from the Birmingham City Centre and is a fantastic destination for any classic car lover!
The museum, located in Gaydon, Warwickshire, houses a huge collection of cars and vehicles, including the world’s largest collection of historic British cars. If you are looking for a great family day out, here is what is on at the British Motor Museum.

Activity sheets and trails
Pick up an activity sheet and take the trial around the museum!
Each zone is themed, and the activity sheets will provide families with a fantastic quality experience of the musem.
Interactive Zones
Each area of the museum has an interactive touch screen which are perfect for inquisitive little minds.
Some screens have games including guessing games and digital rally courses.
Learn more about the British motor industry and British cars.
Take a trip to the Photo Booth and try out the period costumes!
Mini Motorists
The museum holds regular activity mornings for parents and carers with preschoolers aged under 5.
Come along and enjoy a story and an interactive activity between 10:30am and 12pm.

School holiday and festive activities
The British Motor Museum also runs regular school holiday and festive activities, such as Christmas events and the Christmas trail.
Also holds extra workshops during school holidays.
Playground and picnic area
The outdoor playground is the perfect spot for the kids to run around during your visit.
The picnic area sits adjacent to the playground.
From the playground you can also see the cars in the Collections Centre, through the glass windows.

Other information
The Museum offers push along cars for the littlest legs!
Blue Peter Badge holders between 6 and 15 years can enter for free with a paying adult using an adult or family ticket.
The museum has baby change facilities.
The Junction 12 cafe serves a range of children’s meals.

Opening hours: Open every day (except between 24 December 2018 to 1 January 2019 inclusive) from 10am to 5pm
Cost: Adults £14, children aged 5 to 16 years £9, concessions £12, family ticket £39 and children under 5 years are free.
