Do you live in Bournville, or the surrounding area? If you haven’t already paid a visit to the , it is worth dropping by for its vast range of family activities, including health and exercise, arts and crafts, educational activities and even legal advice. It is a fantastic place for community support and to meet new families with children in the area. There’s even a children’s library! Most sessions are available for a suggested donation of £2 (unless otherwise specified.) Here’s what they offer.

Health and Fitness Activities
Blossom Pregnancy Yoga – available to pregnant women, although restrictions may apply. For more information about pregnancy yoga and the services listed below, contact Mandy on 07766 714 926.

Craft, Stories and Music
Music with Mummy – these fantastic musical sessions for mums and babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are run throughout the day and are suitable for children from birth up to five years old.
Storytime for Toddlers – come along and enjoy craft, songs, and rhymes each Thursdays at 1:30pm for a cost of £2.50, which includes refreshments (always check the website for schedule changes before you go.)

Activities for Parents and Grandparents
Busy Parents – come and meet other parents with young children.
Rooted Together Grandparents and Grandchildren group – a weekly drop-in session on Tuesdays at 10:45am that includes craft, story and fun class with refreshments afterwards, for a fee of £2.50.
What’s Your Story Family History Group – sessions take place every month on Thursdays.

French Conversation Classes for Adults
Tutoring for 11 exams or GCSEs run through Beaufort Tutors – contact them via the website for a free trial.

Games
The Strategic Games Group meets on a Friday night each month for children aged 11 and over and adults who simply loves challenging board games.
Legal Advice
Do you have a legal issue you would like some advice about? Experienced barrister Moira visits the hub on the first Wednesday of each month from 10am to 11am and offers advice on divorce, separation, access visits, family mediation, tenancy agreements and making a will. Simply drop in or text Moira on 07979421484 to book a spot. The sessions are confidential and there are toys available for young children if you need to bring them along.
